Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you book a fridge, freezer, cold room panel or electrical waste collection with WEEE Want Your Waste.

Last updated 13 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to every collection booked with WEEE Want Your Waste Ltd, whether online, by phone or by email. By booking a collection you agree to these terms.

Bookings and quotes

Online bookings are requests until we confirm them by email or phone. Quotes are based on the information you provide and are valid for 30 days. If the items, quantities or access differ significantly on the day, we may revise the price before loading.

Your responsibilities

To help us collect safely and on time, you agree to:

  • Describe items accurately, including whether units are commercial or domestic and any known damage or leaks.
  • Empty fridges and freezers of food and liquids before collection.
  • Provide safe, clear access and tell us about stairs, lifts, parking restrictions or loading bay times.
  • Make sure someone is available to sign the waste transfer note.

Cancellations and changes

You can cancel or rearrange a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the collection slot. Late cancellations or failed collections caused by lack of access may be charged at a reasonable call-out fee, which we will tell you about in advance.

Trade and bulk loads

Third-party carriers and transfer stations delivering or arranging bulk loads (from 1 to 100+ units) must provide accurate load descriptions and valid waste documentation. We may refuse loads that are contaminated or misdescribed.

Payment

Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 30 days. We do not take payment online at the moment; payment details will be included with your confirmation or invoice.

Liability

We take care to protect your premises during collection. Our liability is limited to the value of the collection, except where the law does not allow us to limit it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
