You receive a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note to keep on file as proof of legal disposal.
Staying compliant
The rules, handled for you
- Commercial refrigeration often contains ozone-depleting or high-GWP gases and is classed as hazardous waste.
- Every collection is carried out by a registered waste carrier and recorded on a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note.
- Units are never broken up on site, so no refrigerant is released.

Can you collect fridges that are still plumbed in?
Yes. Our crew can disconnect and remove most units on the day. Tell us about any plumbed or hard-wired units when you book so we can plan for them.
Do you handle full store refits?
Yes. We regularly clear complete sites, from a single bottle cooler to a full run of multidecks, and can schedule around your opening hours.
What paperwork will I get?
A Hazardous Waste Consignment Note for every collection, which you should keep for at least three years.
